Site operations
The website stays
網站唔跟人走
A small company’s website should not stop because one person leaves.
The previous commercialisation.ai site was on Bluehost. After the people who operated it left, the public page showed Account Suspended. The website left with the account.
This version is a clean rebuild. The pages live in version control and are meant to be published on Vercel. The domain stays registered at GoDaddy, and DNS is cut away from Bluehost. The cutover steps are written for the operator. They are not a price list, and they are not on this page.
Three practices
What follows is something we are willing to talk about. It is not a priced product, and there is no client count. We will not quote a percentage we have not measured.
Asset Vault
Registrar login, a DNS export, hosting, analytics, brand files, and a copy of the site itself, held in the company’s name, with a second person who can reach them. Not in one person’s private inbox.
Uptime watch
A check that notices when the homepage stops answering, and a named person who receives it. Who receives it, and how often it runs, belongs in the runbook — not in a slogan.
Runbook
One page: who can change DNS, who can restore the last good deploy, what Account Suspended means, and who is called first. Written before anyone leaves.
